Just another manic Monday? We have the perfect remedy. Bondi’s The Corner House is great any night but when we heard that the upstairs area is hosting an intimate fortnightly wine tasting evening, we knew we could kiss those wintery, post weekend blues goodbye!

For those whose lives have not yet been graced by The Corner House, and its delightfully rustic Italian fare and potentially potent aperitifs, perhaps this is the perfect opportunity for an introduction. And for those die-hard thin crust pizza fans already familiar with this trendy hub, what better way to continue the love affair.

‘Meet, Sip and Swallow’ will take place fortnightly on Monday or Tuesday evenings and will host distinctive winemakers from across Australia to discuss and savour their specially selected wines.

Tickets come at a pretty reasonable $40, including wine and food! The next event falls on Tuesday 17^th August and The Corner House will be hosting Luke Lambert from the Yarra Valley showcasing his knockout reserve 2009 Syrah and Nebbiolo. Be sure to get your tickets early: this is a winter outing sure to grab some attention.

With Australia’s finest drops coming within an arm’s reach, this fortnightly event comes highly recommended.
