Entries close tomorrow for the first annual Cowgirl Hall of Fame Pageant which will be hosted at The Vanguard this June.

Forget toddlers and tiaras this is no ordinary beauty spectacle. In the name of plain old good fun the event will see “outlaws” from around the country going head to head in a series of cowgirl challenges.

The competition will include a talent show where participants get 4 minutes to show off their cowgirl awesomeness, a rodeo where contestants compete to stay on a mechanical bull the longest and of course, what pageant would be complete without an evening wear parade. The winner of will be the first lass to be added to The Vanguard’s Cowgirl Hall of Fame.

To enter, you just email The Vanguard at the address below before by tomorrow  nominate your cowgirl name (think Texas Rose, Patsy Fine etc) and give them your contact details. Then come June 8th, whether your participating or not, slap on your best rhinestone outfit, rock up to the Vanguard and have a boot scooting time!
