Eat+Art+Fashion Sale
A 3-in-1 pop-up love in
June 04,2012
Today, we’re regaling you with a love story. That is, a story for those who love food, fashion and art. Better yet the love is all found or perhaps a more apt description, has popped up in one place.
This Thursday from 9am until Saturday 9th June, find yourself in Rosebery for a 3-in-1 pop up experience. You might find yourself snacking on pulled pork sandwiches with mustard cabbage at the same time as you sift through racks of Chloe, Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs.
Featuring:
Eat Art Truck — the latest entrant to Sydney’s food truck scene, launched just last week, is packed full of acumen. Each day from 12 noon former Tetsuya sous chef Stuart McGill and ex-Quay chef Brenton Balicki will be at the burners dazzling your taste buds. High brow culinary delights (served from the truck) start at $5!
So what about the art? The exterior of the truck serves as an open slate for a different artist to design each month. The centre of the exterior is a removable canvas, which will be saved and added to an art collection to be auctioned off for charity at year’s end.
My Net Sale — on sale from Australia’s newest private sale site will be discounted current season designer labels including current season Chloe, Christian Loubitan, Diesel, J Brand, Alexander Wang, Isabelle Marant, Celine and more at up to 75% off. Prices start at $20.
All this takes place at the Soho Galleries pop-up – the largest commercial gallery in Sydney.
There you have it, a story where lovers of fine food, fashion and art are intertwined. And guess what? They all lived happily ever after.
Where: 57-61 Rothschild Avenue, Rosebery
