As the name suggests, Bitton’s Gourmet Café, in Alexandria, uses only the finest ingredients in its many naughty-but-nice offerings. Signature dish is the French crepe with strawberry and vanilla jam and, for a proper meal, try the mushroom risotto or grilled scallops. Service is suitably grand but it’s not pretentious here, just very calorific.
