Brass Bistro and Bar
Visit the big Yellow House
February 17,2012
The Yellow House in Potts Point has had a change. Gone is Yellow Bistro and in its place stands the new Brass Bistro and Bar.
The folks at Brass have done a fantastic job refurbishing the Yellow House, and we’re sure it’s set to be another local darling. Emphasis has been placed on creating a classically cool aesthetic with wax concrete walls, plush leather seating, a brass engulfed bar and eclectic black ceilings, all finished off with smattering of Arne Jacobsen 1952 Ant chairs.
Out on the deck, the vibe is a little more relaxed, perfect for the early morning breakfast crowd. Stainless steel chairs contrast with the bright yellow façade of the building to create an industrial look and feel.
The menu is just as diverse as the philosophy at Brass, with French and Italian cuisine inspiring the breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. There is a definite emphasis towards organic and healthy produce as well as sustainable cooking practices. Every element of the meal is fresh, with a guarantee that all food, from the pasta to the gelato is made on site.
Beverages run freely, with an extensive selection of Australian, French and Italian wine and of course classic and signature cocktails.
Chilled DJ beats, succulent food and soothing wine make Brass Bistro and Bar one of our top picks for a relaxed dining experience.
