Dose Espresso
The new kid in Willoughby - not just a pretty face!
January 09,2012
Are you are a lover of coffee or a foodie with a passion for organic and tasty treats? Ok silly question - Sydney’s newest espresso bar, located in the lower north shore suburb of Willoughby, will not only see your taste buds seriously indulged, it will have your remaining senses screaming for more.
Dose began tantalising locals with their delightful smell of freshly roasting coffee in November 2011. This architecturally stunning cafe is warm and inviting, decked with large wooden tables and benches, soft cushions, old fashioned stools and timber crates and smaller tables resembling empty cotton spools. The lighting is exposed but warm, and above the counter hangs modern street art. If being outdoor is more to your liking, there are tables with plenty of protection from the elements located just outside the bi folding doors.
Another plus, you get to check out the in-house coffee roaster, placed where all diners can have a sticky beak – it is quite the incredible machine!
We know you don’t need any more incentive to try out Dose, but there is one more for the parents and bubs of Willoughby (and we know there’s plenty of you), there is ample room to park the prams, as your hosts will say – valet pram parking is available.
More than just an espresso bar, Dose is fast becoming the local darling.
