Momo Brasserie
You don't need to mortgage your house to eat here
March 06,2012
If you’ve got one of those swishy corporate jobs in the big buildings that surround Martin Place then you need to know about Momo Brasserie.
Located smack bang in the centre of Sydney on Elizabeth Street, Momo Brasserie has a monopoly on all three meals of the day. Open from 7:30am, they serve up a mean big brekky and bakery selections along with a delightfully rich cup of coffee that will get you more buzz than Energizer Bunny.
The lunch and afternoon menu is gourmet enough to justify its CBD location, but not fancy enough to be filled to the brim with suits. Hot sandwiches with a delicious selection of cheeses, Wagyu beef and smoked salmon as well as substantial meals if you feel so inclined to casually demolish a steak at 2pm.
And the best part? You won’t have to mortgage your house to grab a bite at Momo Brasserie, with many of the breakfast and lunch selections under $20.
Momo compliments their mod Oz cuisine with a modern setting typical of CBD establishments. The open kitchen lets you see your food being prepared and the crisp white furnishings makes you feel like you’re dining somewhere on the upper east side of New York.
This place is a down to earth restaurant in the heart of Sydney that screams five-star elegance at prices the average worker can afford.
